Tech Firm Integrates Enterprise Management System with Operational Technologies

Challenge

A Fortune 500 technology firm sought to deploy an enterprise management system (EMS) to integrate operational technologies, sensors, and third-party systems. This resulted in robust disaster recovery, data redundancy, and failover capabilities deployed on-premises within data center facilities globally. The EMS would be operated through a global command center, with a single global view of operations in the Americas, India, Europe, the Middle East, and Asian regions, allowing operators to conduct proactive facility maintenance, enhanced building analytics, and multiple points of redundancy and automatic failover.

Solution

With the capability to meet the customer’s enhanced disaster recovery and failover requirements, the ability to scale throughout a global portfolio - including hundreds of facilities in dozens of countries, and decades of experience with their wide range of disparate technologies and underlying systems, entroCIM has proven to be the right platform to achieve the project’s myriad goals.

While entroCIM’s comprehensive fault detection, visualization and reporting capabilities play an important role in the deployment's success, the platform’s role within the organization’s greater IT landscape has been the most crucial factor in ongoing global adoption. Provisioning multiple instances of the platform per site, plus additional regional disaster recovery points, has led to a deployment architecture that solves complex problems while maintaining simple access and workflows for stakeholders throughout a global portfolio.
