Giving back to our communities is an essential part of who we are. That commitment is the inspiration behind Wesco Cares. This corporate philanthropic program allows Wesco to make a positive and lasting impact within the communities where our employees work and reside.

Employee volunteering with all employees receiving eight hours of paid volunteer time off per year
Employee gift matching of donations up to $5,000 per employee per year
Employee assistance providing one-time grants to employees suffering catastrophic loss to help them get back on their feet
Every year, we are humbled by our employees’ generosity. Many of our sites support local groups and causes that matter to them. Their acts of kindness have included donating stuffed animals to pediatric hospital patients, supporting domestic violence shelters, and helping the Operation Turkey program provide Thanksgiving turkeys to the less fortunate.
We’re grateful for the charitable work of our team members and hope to inspire others to follow suit.
The 2025 Wesco Day of Caring was celebrated on June 19. Events were hosted at numerous sites around the globe, giving nearly 5,000 employees and more than 60 nonprofit community partners the opportunity to attend. Through Wesco Cares, employees logged almost 1,000 hours and donated more than $210,000 with company matches year to date. Nearly 200 charities were positively impacted by our employees’ generosity.
Our Day of Caring events encouraged employees to give back to their communities by showcasing local volunteer opportunities. Employees also learned more about the company’s matching gifts and paid volunteer time off programs, as well as corporate giving support of the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and other local charitable organizations.
