CASE STUDY
Challenge
A university with many departments and stakeholders with thousands of diverse use cases looked to entroCIM to help align disparate operational technology platforms and data within a single interface.
Solution
Leveraging the university’s deep integration of the SkySpark framework, entroCIM optimized existing data and efforts by seamlessly deploying the university’s analytical ruleset within entroCIM’s interface and workflows. Through developed API connections, entroCIM was able to also integrate with CollegeNet facility scheduling and Distech devices.
An evolving custom commissioning app automates complex commissioning scripts to leverage the power of historical data and read/write communication from the earliest stages of the project lifecycle.
Upon proving these concepts, the next step of supplementing existing SkySpark licensing itself to widen the adoption of entroCIM was targeted, tripling the platform’s coverage without any loss of functionality of SkySpark’s built-in tools, or the university's existing custom developments. Clustering these software instances into a single, logical view brings all the data streams together, bringing entroCIM’s capabilities to stakeholders, including the ability to self-deploy graphics, dashboards, reporting and more.
